    Equipment Description
    The filter material of the iron and manganese removal filter consists of manganese sand, anthracite, and quartz sand. The primary filtration medium is manganese sand, with quartz sand and gravel serving as the underdrain support layer. This equipment is primarily designed to remove manganese and iron ions from influent water through catalytic oxidation by manganese sand adsorbents.
    It can be configured for either manual or automatic control, with the ability to switch between these modes. The automatic control system monitors and regulates all operational and process control points, enabling unattended and fully automated operation. The system employs a combined air-water backwash mechanism, and the backwash wastewater is discharged. Additionally, the concentrated water from the reverse osmosis system is utilized for backwashing in the system design, thereby enhancing water utilization efficiency.
    During backwashing, the filter can initiate automatic backwashing based on the time interval set by the central control system or according to the differential pressure threshold across the inlet and outlet of the filter.
    The operational modes of the filter include water production, water backwashing, air backwashing, and forward washing. All operational modes are executed automatically in accordance with predefined programs.
